What is Light Painting?
From Wikipedia:
Light painting, also known as light drawing or light graffiti is a photographic technique in which exposures are made usually at night or in a darkened room by moving a hand-held light source or by moving the camera.
What happens is the camera’s shutter stays open for several seconds and captures the “trails” of light from a bright light source. When this is done in a darkened room, the only thing the camera captures is the light, the rest is all black.
