I developed my own rig for Light Painting, which consists of a square piece of cardboad suspended from the ceiling on four strings. The underside has 4 breadboards attached which allow the LED configuration to be changed.
The breadboard power strips I modified so only negative power strip was continuous and the positive strip was broken after the first 5 slots which allows the resistors for the LED’s to be changed easily.
Batteries on the topside of the cardboard provide the power for all 4 breadboards.
Here is a video showing how some my images are created. This video was shot during daylight hours, all Light Painting images are captured at night.
